SUNTAK, SPECIALISTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS

With more than 20 years of experience, Suntak has positioned itself as one of the best design, engineering and construction companies in Mexico.

The company arises from the need to develop high quality and international class industrial projects. It is based on the Japanese philosophy, which has allowed it to create a successful role as a builder, since it effectively mixes the methodologies of both countries.

"Seeing the opportunity for future growth in Mexico, Suntak decided to support international investors who wanted to invest in the region, so seminars were coordinated in various countries to expand the knowledge they had about Mexico and thus gain the confidence to target the Mexican nation as a sustainable country for industrial investment," said Tomohiro Takayama, Director of Business Development at Suntak Project Management.

Suntak began operations with an office of six employees, but has since maintained steady growth due to the confidence of its customers and the quality of its design and construction services. Today, Suntak has more than 100 employees and three offices in Mexico located in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon; and in the Bajio, in San Luis Potosi and Silao, Guanajuato, as well as an international office in Ueno, Japan.

Silao's office is located in the G100 business building, in Mexico's most important automotive corridor, from where it serves the growing industrial market of the Bajio.

The company offers an integral service that facilitates the understanding of a client with respect to his project. It begins with the selection of the best location for the land to settle the project, then proceeds to perform studies of soil, feasibility, terracing, placement of structure, civil works, finishes, electro-mechanical installations and permits. Finally, it delivers to the client a turnkey project, ready to start operations.

Among its main customers are Hitachi Group, Sumitomo, Denso, Honda, Panasonic, Toray, Midori Anzen, AGC, Nidec Sankyo, Zeon Kasei, U-Shin, Takamatsu Plating Mexicana and Clarion, to mention a few.

"We consider ourselves an ally to our clients, always offering the best option from the location of the land for their logistics, developing each one of the engineering projects at the best performance and cost of the process without neglecting the design and aesthetics of these; we carry out construction processes with safety and hygiene without neglecting the quality of the work and materials, always keeping in mind the mission of having satisfied clients," explained Takayama.

One of the most complete projects that Suntak has developed in the industry is Servilamina Summit, since its engineering and special foundations for its equipment, traveling cranes and its facilities led them to a correct and complete execution, satisfying the construction team with an achievement of not exceeding the tolerance limits. 

Also, Nidec Sankyo stands out. It was one of the projects with mechanical and HVAC installations that has been held in the area of San Luis Potosi achieving delivery in time and form the project "built to suit".

"Likewise, AGC's project (first phase) was one of the projects executed with more agility and with 27,500 m2 of construction, leading our team to a joint satisfaction of the customer for our quality and performance in the execution of the same," said Takayama.

NEW PROJECTS

Suntak continues to innovate and implement Zero-Energy Buildings projects, maintenance services (Life-Cycle Maintenance), implementations of new technologies for electrical and mechanical improvement, among others.

According to Suntak's Business Development Director, Mexico is a stable country in terms of foreign investment, which is why the government, together with the private sector, has been able to promote Mexico as a strategic location for the industrial sector.
